Certain features of SYNC® may work differently depending on which phone you have. Platforms such as iPhone, Android and Blackberry all work with SYNC, but different phone models do vary; watch the videos below for more information on tips and troubleshooting questions for each phone.27, 119, 120, 121
Phones can work differently with SYNC®—so if you know your phone model, or are shopping for a new one, you can check our phone compatibility chart to see what features work best with your model. Some other things to remember when it comes to SYNC and your phone:
iPhones work with SYNC—just make sure you have Bluetooth discovery enabled. Go here to learn about setting it up.121
Some earlier versions of Android only accept a four-digit PIN, or pass-key, to connect to SYNC. Learn how to set it up.119
